Red FM's RM60k Music Take Away

The Red FM RM60k Music Take Away challenge had been ongoing for a few weeks now and this week is the last week. Throughout the challenge, I've always sent in a few SMS every time I heard the song played. With the ending drawing near and the prize money increased from RM250/RM2500 to RM500/RM5000 this week, I decided to send more SMS today.

I knew beforehand that there was going to be the RM5000 live version being played today as I had gotten the email from Red FM. Luck was on my side as I did manage to get the call from JD and Dilly on the Red FM's Breakfast show!

At first, I thought that they were just calling up to talk to one of the SMSers. They even asked about going Bungee Jumping with them this weekend. Then only did they announce that I had won the RM5000 SMS challenge. I was literally speechless.

I had to repeat expressing my joy a couple of times before they had what they needed for the show. Oh my god. That was unnerving and embarrassing. This is certainly an unexpected but welcomed surprise.
